Maine Fly Fishing

Maine Fly Fishing on the scenic Androscoggin and Magalloway Rivers are popular trips with our customers. For more remote excursions, we offer treks to the Rapid River. We also guide New Hampshire outings on the Peabody, Ammonoosuc, and Ellis Rivers.

Anglers can fish for salmon, brookies, rainbows, browns, and small mouth bass. We stock a full line of flies – the largest fly selection in Western Maine – with local fly patterns. Resident and non-resident fishing licenses are always available.

Family Fish Fest 2010

The Upper Andro Anglers Alliance in co-operation with Trout Unlimited will host a free family fishing festival on Saturday, June 5. The festival will be held at Angevine Park on the North Road in Bethel, from 9 am to 2 pm, rain or shine. Free casting workshops and fly-tying instruction will be available throughout the day.

Local Maine guides and members of the Mollyockett Chapter of Trout Unlimited will teach the workshops. Instruction will include both spin casting and fly casting for older youth and parents. Maine’s Hooked on Fishing-Not on Drugs Program will supply complimentary rods and reels for use at the festival.

Moose & Wildlife Safaris: Let our guides bring you to the best viewing areas and learn about the species and their habitat. Learn all about the Eco-System and Forestry Management practices.

ATV Rental: Our half and full-day 4-wheeling guided trips are very popular. Tour the western mountains of Maine running through the Mahoosuc Mountains.

Fall: Take a breathtaking Fall Foliage Tour with licensed State of Maine outdoor educator. We also offer guided hiking and specialty trips for the outdoor sports enthusiast. Bring your camera to capture beautiful autumn landscapes.

Maine Cabin for Rent: Rent the cabin during spring and summer months, Sun Valley Sports offers fly fishing or canoeing and kayaking on the scenic Magalloway and Androscoggin Rivers.

Spring: This is the perfect time for our exciting waterfall tours, and Moose and wildlife trips. In Western Maine and New Hampshire, we have miles of scenic rivers and lakes and gorgeous mountain terrain for nature photography.
